Established in 1979 by Mark Kolemba, Kolemba Industries, Inc (originally Kolemba Painting and Fabricating, Inc) quickly forged a strong presence in the metal fabrication and manufacturing sector. The company's services encompassed metal fabrication for notable clients throughout the decades including General Electric, Wright Industries, and U.S. Tobacco. The company formed into what it is today through designing and building complex equipment, sandblasting, wet-painting and heat-treating for its diverse customer basis.

In the early 90s, Kolemba Industries entered the powder coating business. The company also manufactured powder coating production equipment, such as multi-stage washers and ovens. This effectively replaced wet painting, offering a more environmentally friendly and durable form of painting steel products.

In 2005, the company began manufacturing and powder coating perimeter security equipment, taking on new jobs to this day. Since 2013, Kolemba Industries has expanded its metal fabrication offerings to include a wide range of electrode handling equipment.
